Concilio is honored to announce a generous contribution of more than $5,000 from Rivers Casino Philadelphia, made through the casino’s Change Makes a Difference initiative.
This meaningful donation will directly support Concilio’s vital work across family-based social services, youth programs, cultural events, and community outreach throughout Philadelphia.
The gift was presented during a mini celebration at Rivers Casino, where Concilio staff gathered with casino representatives to commemorate the partnership. David Dessberg, Community Relations Specialist at Rivers Casino, welcomed the Concilio team and presented the check—symbolizing the casino’s steadfast commitment to uplifting local nonprofit organizations.

The Change Makes a Difference program encourages casino guests to donate leftover change or small cash amounts to benefit selected nonprofits—a simple act that collectively drives powerful community impact. For Concilio, these funds will help bridge critical funding gaps in key programs, including:
- Foster care and adoption services
- Utility assistance for seniors
- Youth mentorship and development
- Signature cultural events like Concilio’s Annual Hispanic Fiesta and Puerto Rican Day Parade
