Dr. Rashidah Abdul-Khabeer, PhD, MHS RN, is currently the Program Development Coordinator and Grant Writer for Concilio. She has successfully garnered more than $4 million in funding over the last 5 years, assisting in expanding Concilio’s critical social services to the Latino communities in Philadelphia. She is a Registered Nurse with a 35-year history as an activist and advocate for those impacted by HII/AIDS both locally and nationally for people of color. She is the past Director of Community-based Health Services for AccessMatters, a reproductive health services organization.
Dr. Abdul-Khabeer received her Nursing education from Drexel University (Medical College of Pennsylvania), her master’s in human services from Lincoln University (Pennsylvania), and her PhD in Human Services, Research and Evaluation from Capella University. Dr. Abdul-Khabeer has actively served the Muslim communities of Philadelphia teaching Islamic Studies for Women in several masjids in Philadelphia.
