Lesly Jimenez is a first-generation Guatemalan-American. Descendant of a family of hard-working immigrants looking for a better future. Originally, born in Brooklyn N.Y. but then moving to the suburbs of Philadelphia in 2004. The transition to Pennsylvania brought many challenges as well as opportunities for growth. Since then Lesly has grown to love Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.
Lesly Jimenez received her Bachelors of Social Work from Cairn University in Langhorne PA. Shortly after graduation having her beautiful baby girl. Five years later going on to receive her Master of Social Work from West Chester University Philadelphia Center City Campus. Going on to get her License Social Work. In July of 2023, Lesly gained certification through Lakeside Global as Trauma Trainer.
Since 2013, Lesly Jimenez has been working in the North Philadelphia section servicing families, working at local community agencies. Lesly started as a Bilingual Drug & Alcohol Case Manager for Adults then transitioned to working with the Strengthening Families Department within CUA. In 2016, she began working at Concilio in the Family Social Services Department providing Parenting classes in the community. Since then, she has facilitated trainings in the areas of Foster Care, Adoptions, and CPR. All training courses are designed to provide caregivers with trauma-informed knowledge and tools to promote holistic well-being within the family system there by increasing healthy and secure attachment between caregiver and child.
