In its 26th year, the Hispanic Fiesta is one of the most popular and best attended events at Philadelphia's water-front. Hosted at Penn's Landing, this regional celebration appeals to a multi-cultural audience. For two fun-filled days, the Hispanic Fiesta features music, dance, entertainment, ethnic foods, and artisan crafts from Puerto Rico and other Latin American countries.

Latin-American Summer Solstice Festival

The objective of this event is to promote the cultural and artistic wealth of Philadelphia’s Latino community. Guest artists will include the Ollin Yoliztli Calmecac Aztec Dance Group; the Danza Tenochtli Jalisco Youth Dance Group; Grupo Fuego Dance Troupe; the ‘Ceremonia del Fuego Nuevo Aztec Dance Group; and, Chicano poet Juan Gutierrez among others. This event is organized by the Mexican Cultural Center, Casa de los Soles, Juntos, Izcalli Cultural Center, and Congreso de Latinos Unidos. "Dos Manos" Art Exhibit

Luis Herman “Cajiga” in collaboration with local Cuban artist Orlando Quevedo, have created a “masterpiece”.  This will be the first of several works for their “Dos Manos” collection. The intent of this project is to homenajear or pay homage to Puerto Rican culture and its contributors. This is accomplished through the reinterpretation of costumbrista or traditional scenes, where the realism and the magic of these cultures meet. 43rd Regional Puerto Rican Day Parade 2005

Philadelphia's Puerto Rican Day Parade is the "Crown Jewel" of the Puerto Rican Festival. It was one of the first ethnic parades televised in Philadelphia by WPVI-TV Channel 6 (ABC affiliate). Wally Kennedy and Diego Castellanos have traditionally served as the hosts for the televised portion of the parade, which allows an additional 60,000 viewers to tune in for a display of cultural pride. Youth groups, community organizations, schools, corporate sponsors and many others across the tri-state area participate in making this parade a showcase of Puerto Rican and Latino culture.
